
The November edition of UK's Yachting World magazine has put the International Mirror Dinghy at Number 7 in its list of the 50 yachts that changed the way we sail. There was a great article about this in the 12th October's Daily Mirror newspaper (published in the UK) and on the Daily Mirror Website .

After ten races sailed at the Mirror European Championships, Lough Ree YC pairing Caolan Croasdell & Alexander Farrell won with two bullets on the final day. Mel and Sophie Collins of hosts Royal Cork Yacht Club were second on 22 points with another RCYC pairing of Rory and Oisin MacAllister third on 25 points. Sarah White & Eoghan Duffy from Sligo YC took the Ladies prize & 6th overall.

Winder Boats have kindly agreed to suppy a minimum of 3 Charter boats for the 2017 GUL Mirror Worlds & UK Nationals. They will be Winder's Championship Specification boats with RYA measurement certificates. Details in this letter from Winder Boats, the one charter fee covers both UK Nationals & Worlds. I understand (March 2017) that all three boats have now been taken. Winder won't build any more unless they can sell some of the Charter Boats to new owners (i.e. for delivery after the Worlds). To discuss/arrange Winder Charter boats, please contact Winder Boats directly.
