The Gul Mirror Worlds kicked off in a solid 3-4 from the south, the south west & the west, for the first hour the wind swung wildly as showers, clouds & clear skies rolled through. Evenually the wind settled into the south west, allowing IRO Jeff Martin and his team to set a windward - leeward course (yawn) and get the first race underway. The first attempt at a start ended in a general recall, but the fleet got away on the second attempt under a 'P' flag.

The wooden boat specification has been updated. The new version is in World Sailing's Standard Class Rules (SCR) format & generally updates the specification reflect changes in boat building & the marine industry since the last specification was issued.

The Notice Of Race for the 2017 Gul Mirror Worlds & British National Championship has now been published and can be downloaded via the link.
The online entry system is now open. As per the NOR, the current price will be held until Friday 7th July, after which it will increase.
